Dr Naveenchandra Acharya is working as Consultant Urologist with special interest in the field of Andrology and Microsurgery

He did MS from Bangalore University and Superspeciality Urology training (MCh) from the prestigious Institute PGIMER, Chandigarh. He worked as Assistant Professor in Department of Urology at the same Institute subsequent to his training. He was In-Charge of Andrology division during his tenure as Faculty in PGIMER.

He later worked as Chief Urologist in RG Stone group of Hospitals. His biography has been included in Marquis Whos Whos and has more than 45 national and International publications many of them in the field of male infertility and male/female sexual dysfunction. He is recipient of Best paper award as the co-author at American Urological Association in 2008 and best paper award in Asian Congress of Urology at New Delhi in 2008.

His special area of interest has been Andrology and has expertise in microsurgical reconstructive surgery in male infertility. He was awarded as Young Investigator of 2007 at Delhi by Clinical Biochemistry Association for his work in Male Infertility Genetics. He is also recipient of Rashtriya Gaurav Award for excellence in the field of medicine by International Friendship Society of India IN 2009.
